At Megabon Construction and Development Corporation, we believe that success is not only measured by the spaces we build but also by the communities we help nurture. Guided by this principle, Megabon recently held its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in partnership with Scholars of Sustenance Philippines (SOS Philippines), an organization dedicated to fighting food waste and hunger across Southeast Asia.
On September 13, 2025, our team joined hands with SOS Philippines and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned Church in Sta. Ana, Manila. With the help of volunteers and church partners, 255 hot meals were served to detainees and participants of the church’s feeding program.
This initiative was about more than simply providing food. It was about:
✅ Turning surplus food into nutritious meals
✅ Reducing food waste and emissions
✅ Providing meals where they are most-needed
By working together, we supported not only immediate hunger relief but also a broader vision of sustainability and food rescue. Since 2016, SOS Philippines has been leading this mission across the region, with an ambitious goal of distributing 50 million meals by 2025. Megabon is proud to contribute to this cause and stand beside organizations that share our belief in building a better and more sustainable tomorrow.
This day was a reminder for all volunteers on the power of collaboration and compassion. What began as a small act of service became a shared experience of giving back, one that reflects Megabon’s values of integrity, responsibility, and teamwork.
As a company, we are committed to building spaces that matter, but just as importantly, we are committed to building communities of care. This first CSR activity is only the beginning. We look forward to more sustainable partnerships and impactful initiatives that bring positive change to the communities we serve.
At Megabon, we know that true success means leaving behind not just remarkable projects, but also a meaningful legacy. 🌱
